Sea Kayaking

Paddling is a great and very comfortable way of moving in the outdoors. You can bring everything you need and more, and the going is still as easy. You’ll be amazed how quick those kayaks are as you’ll see yourself fly from one side of the map to the other.

You might wonder if you need sea kayaking experience to venture out at sea on your own. You don’t need experience, but off course you have to be sensible and respect the sea. Our kayaks are really steady, yet fast, and it’s difficult to tip over a loaded one. Because you have a 5-20 kilometres wide band of islands shielding you from wind and waves, sea kayaking here is more similar to paddling in big lakes. It can be windy and it can be wavy, but it’s easy to find sheltered routes in order to avoid crossings if they feel scary.

When you’re out for a few days you’ll get some calm days and some rougher ones. Nothing beats paddling in mirror-calm water with silence and bird-chatter surrounding you, but it can also be a fun adventure when you have to struggle some to get ahead. Summer off course means a lot of sunny and calm days with sunbathing, swimming and cold beers on the agenda. In the unfortunate event of rain you’ll stay completely dry, as we’ll provide wind and rainproof clothing, spray shirts in the kayaks and a large tarp on land. The waterproof hatches and bags will keep your gear dry at all times.

"Sea kayaking in Saint Anna was an adventure in every sence of the word rather than following the same old beaten tourist trail. The landscape was incredible and not having a guide made it lots more fun! It was one of the best travel-
ling experiences I've had!"
