Falukorv Stroganoff
     
Ingredients:
400 g Falukorv
2 onions
3 tblsp tomato paste
0,25 l cream for cooking/long-lasting cream
1 tblsp parsley, finely chopped
4 port parboiled long grain rice

Cooking:

1. Boil the rice.

2. Cut the sausage into sticks. Chop onion and fry in butter. Add the sausage and let it fry for a while. Add tomato paste and stir.

3. Add cream and let boil for a couple of minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.

4. Sprinkle parsley on top (can be excluded) and serve with rice.

 
 
 

Falukorv is part of everyday dishes in every Swedish home, it's as common as meatballs. It is a cooked rather mild sausage that is mostly used in cooking, but it can also be had in thin slices on a sandwich.
Here it's served in a really classic simple dish with rice.
