1. You have to wait until your fire is only glowing.
2. Make a cut in the shell from the top of the banana to the bottom length-ways. Stick a few pieces of chocolate in there. Wrap it up in foil and put it on the bed of embers for 10 minutes or so.
This was top of the list of desserts when I was a scout as a youngster.
